A minimum of 3 years Nursery experience and a Level 3 childcare qualification is essential for this role. One year’s Nursery management experience is required for this position. (e.g., Room Leader). Excellent knowledge of child development and early years foundation stage is essential for this role.
Forest school training is preferred but not essential.
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills who will build on the great foundation already in place and drive the Nursery forward. Candidates must have great communication skills, reliability and able to work using their own initiative, further personal specifications can be found in the job description.
Miss Polly’s is a thriving 47 place Nursery for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We have 3 rooms, a baby room, toddler room and a preschool room all with well-equipped gardens. The Nursery is based in the grounds of The Hurst Secondary School which it has strong links with.

Grade B – Casual £12.85 or £13.02 per hour depending on experience (plus 12.07% holiday pay)
Hours: Variable between 7.30am and 6pm. Required ASAP
Nursery experience is desirable for this role and we look for candidates with a positive attitude to team work, a good manner and a keen interest in child development. A relevant childcare qualification would be an advantage.

Grade C - £25,286 FTE
Applicants for this role should have experience in working in a nursery setting with children aged 0-5 years. We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and organised member of staff to lead a small staff team.
Previous Room Co-ordinator experience is preferable, but we will consider experienced nursery practitioners who are ready to take on the next new and exciting challenge in their career.
A childcare level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential, Foundation degree or above would be an advantage.
