Art
Back to SubjectsIn Art, we offer inclusive schemes of work that cover a variety of Art disciplines, designed to be accessible for every student and to help them achieve their potential.
We believe that there is an 'Art for everyone', and by working in a variety of Art specialisms we enable students to find the Art subject they're best at, as well as developing their artistic skills.
We plan our KS3 projects to develop skills across a variety of Art disciplines, with drawing and design launching each project. We encourage creativity, independent working, and problem-solving through our schemes of work.
At KS4 we offer four separate courses: Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Photography or Textile Design. We encourage students to work independently, creatively and to be experimental. They develop and refine ideas from a given theme to create original and personal outcomes. Students follow the OCR course.
