Celebration for students' talent and creativity
Back to NewsRecently, students from our Alternative Curriculum Geography class took part in the prestigious Wicked Writers Competition, showcasing their talent and creativity on a broader platform. This competition, which focuses on persuasive writing, required our students to craft compelling pieces on environmental matters close to their hearts.
While we eagerly await the results, which will be announced in April, I want to praise the dedication and effort the students poured into researching and articulating their viewpoints. Their persuasive writing not only demonstrated a deep understanding of environmental issues, but also highlighted their passion for creating positive change in the world.
In recognition of their outstanding work, I presented each participant with certificates for their invaluable contribution to the competition. The enthusiasm and commitment they displayed throughout the process truly exemplifies the spirit of our school community.
To celebrate their achievements and foster a sense of camaraderie, a delightful tea party was organised. It was heartwarming to witness the students' joy as they mingled, sharing stories and laughter. As a special treat, we also screened an episode of ‘Our Planet’, enriching our understanding of the world around us and igniting further curiosity about geography.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our students for their hard work and creativity. Let's continue to encourage and celebrate the diverse talents of our students, inspiring them to reach new heights and pursue their passions with confidence.
