Year 8 have been diving into A Midsummer Night’s Dream, exploring Shakespeare’s world through the lively mechanicals scene. From tackling challenging language to capturing the unique performance style of Shakespeare, they’ve shown fantastic resilience and enthusiasm — and their performances were full of energy and humour!

Meanwhile, Year 9 have been pushing theatrical boundaries with physical theatre. Inspired by Frantic Assembly techniques, students created powerful original pieces featuring lifts, chair duets, and dynamic ‘through by round’ sequences. The result? Bold, and expressive performances!
