Colour Run a fantastic success

Our Colour Run took place last Friday, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! The weather was absolutely glorious, and we had over 160 students take part in the event from across Years 7-11.

After a fantastic warm-up to music led by Mr Randall-Bird, the students lined up at the start line in their year groups, and then started the race at 30 second intervals.  Students had to complete three laps of the rectangular course, with teachers lined up at various points on the course, ready to douse the students in coloured powder.

By the end of the three laps, everyone was covered in the powder, and once everyone had completed the course, we all got together for a group photo.

A huge thanks to all the students who took part, and we look forward to receiving your sponsorship money which will help us create a new social space to be used in the summer months, with seating, picnic blankets and a shaded area.
