Pirate of Treasure Island begins its three night run
Back to NewsOur fantastic swashbuckling adventure 'Pirates of Treasure Island - The Musical' started its three-day run last evening, with the school hall full of parents, students and visitors watching the fantastic performance.
The production which was written and produced by our Show Director and Drama teacher, Mr Attridge alongside Musical Director and Music teacher, Mr Lines features great songs, dazzling dance routines, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and amazing special effects. A team of students from across the school have spent many hours rehearsing their lines and learning the dance routines, alongside our Tech team who run the lighting and sound, and our talented orchestra.
If you would like to watch the production, tickets are £5 each for students at The Hurst School and their parents, and £3.00 for senior citizens and primary school children. Tickets can be bought from the Drama Department and will also be sold on the doors each evening. The production starts at 7:30pm. Don't miss out!
We were also delighted to welcome the local primary schools to watch the show this morning, with an icecream treat served during the interval!
