The Globe Players Theatre Company bring Shakespeare to The Hurst

Today our Year 10 and 11 students are enjoying a performance of Romeo and Juliet by the London based Globe Players Theatre Company.
The production is a lively presentation of Shakespeare’s classic love story, which our Year 10 students are currently studying in their GCSE English Literature lessons. Our Year 11s also studied Romeo and Juliet last year, and their current focus is on Shakespeare and Pre-19th Century literature.
Today is a fantastic opportunity for our KS4 students to watch live theatre close-up, and to bring written texts to life through a world class touring theatre company.
